The procedure requires Rx numbing for 25-40 minutes. The actual treatment lasts about 15-20 minutes and includes the neck area.
The skin will be red and warm, which will usually resolve in a few hours. Some *patients will experience a mild sunburn sensation, swelling, and redness post-treatment, which will generally subside within 36 hours.
You will be given options to purchase products to use immediately for comfort and hydration. This can be from Ante-age Stem Cells, To IS Clinical Hydracool to some options from ZO Skin Health. You will be limited to just these to apply for 24 hours.
Most patients can return to regular daily activities after 24 hours. We do not recommend sweating, lake or oceans, hot tubs, or swimming for five days, as these contain bacteria that can cause adverse reactions.
Radio frequency has been used in medicine for many years and is known to be a *safe and effective technology. There is minimal downtime compared to deeper Erbium and CO2 resurfacing. We recommend that you do not take part in any physical activities on the day of the treatment as it can make the skin feel very hot. Redness and swelling are the most commonly reported post-treatment symptoms.

The best candidate for Venus Versa™ body contouring treatments is someone who has pockets of cellulite and/or excess body fat that they can’t get rid of with diet and exercise alone, and who doesn’t want surgery. Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any lotions, creams, perfumes, before your treatment session, and avoid tanning. Remove all jewelry around the area being treated.
The treatments are cumulative. After your final treatment, your results will continue to improve for up to 3-4 months. After that, your face and body continue to age, so maintenance is recommended once a month or every 3-4 months, depending on the person.
An initial consultation will be completed with all new clients, with all paperwork and consent forms completed. Generally an initial appointment will take 45 minutes. All future treatments should only take around 30-45 min (depending on how many areas are being treated).
The applicator will slowly get warmer till your skin reaches the needed temperature and stays within that temperature range. But if you do feel it’s too hot, just let the operator know and they can easily lower the temperature a bit. Treatments are comfortable. Some say it feels like a relaxing hot stone massage. Some even fall asleep during the treatment.
Every cosmetic procedure involves an exceedingly small degree of risk. While every precaution will be taken to prevent any complication, they can and sometimes do occur. These include but are not limited to;
Although the vast majority of Venus Versa OctiPolar treatment patients never experience any of these complications, we discuss them with each client to ensure you fully understand the alternatives, risks, potential complications, and average outcomes of the treatment. The treatment area may look a little flushed and warm to the touch, but this will go away within 1-2 hours. You can return to your daily schedule immediately after your treatment, but activities that cause sweating is not advised. Please wear loose clothing if having stomach area treated as button jeans are not advised.
Most patients receive 8-10 treatments per area. The exact number will depend on each individual person and the area being treated. Treatments are done once a week.

The best candidate is someone with signs of skin aging and damage(acne scarring), such as lines, wrinkles, uneven complexion, or uneven texture. Venus Versa™ TriBella™ treatments work to improve the look of skin tone, elasticity, and texture.
Please see your treatment provider, and they will help you to decide what is the right course of action for your concerns. Pregnancy, implants in the treatment area, pacemakers, some auto-immune diseases, and Accutane are some of the contraindications. You may not be able to get this treatment if you have excessively tanned skin, a history of skin disorders, or an active condition that can be stimulated by light or heat. The TriBella™ REQUIRES an in-house consultation.
TriBella™ consists of three treatments—Photofacial, Diamond Polar Anti-aging, and Viva Skin Resurfacing. Photofacials are powered by Intense Pulsed Light technology, which targets the pigment in your skin. They tend to work best for light to medium skin tones because the heightened stimulation poses a greater risk of discoloration to patients with more pigment in their skin. Darker skin types are not candidates for the photo facial, but are candidates for the Diamond Polar and Viva treatments separately, but not necessarily together in one session. It’s best to consult with your treatment provider to see if the treatment is right for you
Because they combine three treatments in one, TriBella™ sessions last longer than their component parts. The time frame is 2 hours.
Three TriBella™ treatments are recommended for optimal results. You will see results after the first treatment is complete, but full and best results are visible approximately three months after the last session. This is because we are stimulating collagen production in the dermal layer of your skin. Your treatment provider will discuss your own customized maintenance program to ensure you continue to enjoy your youthful appearance.
Treatments are done 4-5 weeks apart.
Discontinue any "actives" in your skincare routine, such as AHAs, BHAs and Retinols 5 days before. Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any lotions, creams, or makeup before your session. You must also avoid tanning, including with self-tanners. You may be advised to shave the area before your treatment. Remove all jewelry around the area being treated.
Different phases feel differently. The photo facial treatment feels like a rubber band snapping against your skin. The anti-aging treatment will be warm, and most patients consider it very comfortable compared to a hot stone massage. However, the skin resurfacing treatment comes after the skin has already been heavily stimulated and is thus more sensitive. At this point, we will apply Rx numbing cream for 25-35 minutes. This treatment is less comfortable than the other two and depends on the issues being treated, as it is adjustable to skin tone and treatment issues. This phase goes quickly, about 20 minutes.
Your skin will feel warm, like a sunburn, and can remain red for up to a few days and have some swelling. Be sure to follow instructions before and after your treatment. We have a few products that we will recommend immediately after, as you will be EXTREMELY limited on what you can use for 24-48 hours after.
It depends on how your skin reacts to the treatment and how you care for your skin afterward. For example, if you protect your skin from the sun, the results will last longer. We recommend one touch-up session every six months to maintain the best results.
You can expect 3-5 days of downtime.
We will recommend a few products you may use immediately after, as you are very limited in what you can apply. You will also be advised about skincare for the next seven days. Direct sun exposure, tanning beds, artificial sunless tanning lotions, and retinoids are not allowed in the treatment areas during the course of the treatment and healing. Avoiding direct sun exposure should become a permanent component of your long-term skincare program. You should also avoid hot baths, massages, hot tubes, pools, lakes/oceans, sweating, or any activities that may be a source of bacteria or any treatment that requires direct contact with the skin for seven days after your treatment. No use of wash rags or facial scrubbing. You will use your fingers only to clean for seven days.
Avoid applying anything to the face aside from what’s recommended by your treatment provider and the treatment instructions. When you are able to put on makeup after a few days, as per your treatment provider’s instructions, be sure to apply sun protection.
The Diamond Polar is a special Venus Versa modality that uses radio frequency treatments to tighten and contour the skin, treating neck bands, neck lines and skin laxity. It is a non-invasive and gentle procedure that creates enough thermal effect to induce collagen growth and remodeling. It can be done on the neck, lower face or full face. Can also be added to some facial treatments. Contraindications are pregnancy, breast feeding, cancer treatment, some auto-immune disorders, implants in the area (not dental) pacemaker, some medication and inflamed acne.
The Diamond Polar treatment uses a combination of Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Fields to treat moderate to severe wrinkles and skin laxity. The Multi-polar RF uses homogeneous energy and volumetric heating to multiple tissue depths which allows for quick and safe buildup of heat, working at a therapeutic temperature in the skin. The RF heat directly stimulates fibroblasts, a cell that plays an important role in wound healing, while the PEMF stimulates new collagen production.
The treatment is comfortable and should feel like a gentle hot stone massage. During the treatment, your provider will apply a clear gel to the treatment area. The Diamond Polar treatment will gradually warm the area to the optimal temperature that stimulates collagen. Each area will be treated from 8-20 minutes, with the full face/neck being up to 60 minutes. The neck and lower face area are 40 minutes.
Almost any area of the body that has sagging or wrinkling skin can be treated. While Octipolar treats the body area, the Diamond Polar common areas of treatment are; the face, neck, chest, upper brows, upper arms, and knees.
Performing eight treatments once a week will provide optimal results.
The treatment is safe and effective for all seasons on all skin tones and types. If you are on retinol or "active" skin care, please discontinue it five days prior to treatment.
